Why should you study ES?

CURRENT EDUCATION

The civil engineering program in energy systems is an education that gives you knowledge in how society should tackle the energy transition. You get a unique opportunity to be involved in developing the energy supply of the future.

MEETINGS WITH BUSINESS

FET organizes several different events every semester that give you as a member the chance to make contact with the business world. There can be lunchtime lectures with various current companies and case evenings. Every spring term we also organize an alumni program where there is the chance to follow an alumnus from the ES program during the semester and thus get the chance to ask questions about life after studies.

SOCIAL EVENTS

Every year, FET holds many different events with different orientations. The training agency holds various forms of sports-related events, such as training in various sports. The club board holds meetings every semester, both with ES but also with other programs. The club board also organizes a pub crawl every semester where they take us around Uppsala's nations. The board is also responsible for various student social events, such as Christmas dinner, alumni party and various event evenings.

SHADOW A STUDENT AT ES

Are you curious about what it is like to study civil engineering? Do you want to see what a day for a student on energy systems looks like? Then you can shadow one of our students for a day!

You get to accompany one of our students during a normal school day, with all that that entails. A perfect opportunity to ask questions and see what it's like to attend a lecture. We at FET also treat you to lunch!
